Emoto has discovered many differences in the crystalline structure of water collected
from a variety of sources around the planet. Water from pristine mountain streams shows beautifully formed
geometric designs when frozen, and polluted water shows definitively distorted and randomly formed crystalline
structures. Emoto photographs these molecular changes in water by freezing droplets and magnifying them under a
dark field microscope. ( http://www.enlightennext.org/magazine/b ... -emoto.asp)
Dr. Emoto’s lauded discoveries, though, a hot button with many in the collective hard
science community, is where we can begin building the architecture for the foundation of water energy metaphysics.
The emphasis of his work is the position that we can affect the properties and performance of water through our
vibrational energy or as we might see it, our Force.
I have to confess, coming from a self-imposed prison of limitation, I have been known
to flog to death just about any idea when the desire and motive to do arises. I struggle to "unlearn what I've
learned." (Yoda, .....) Much of this skepticism, at its healthiest and when used in meditative moderation, is used
for the process of weeding out much of the psycho-propaganda chaff fed to us through the almost-infinite sources of
information we have presently. Many times we fall to our folly by unwillingly subscibing to the adage--a little bit
of knowledge is a dangerous thing. We often will make erroneous assumptions and act definitively upon them.
Sometimes this is harmless. Unfortunately, it can often lead to harm--intentional, unintentional, minor or grave
causing repercussions may be irreversible. In short, it is the discerning mind and our reason, that elevate us from
the animality of basic existence.
One of my favorite skeptical samurai of reasonable thinking in our present age is
Michael Shermer. In his July 2010 column in the Scientific American, Shermer implores us to be always mindful (Jedi
Strange shout-out!) regarding scientific integrity with a quote from Nobel Laureate physicist Richard P. Feynman
during his 1974 commencement speech in the article titled “When Scientists Sin”--”The first principle is that you
must not fool yourself - and you are the easiest person to fool...After you’ve not fooled yourself, it’s easy not
to fool other scientists. You just have to be honest in a conventional way after that.” As Force Realists, we
adhere to the search for and always being mindful of this conventional honesty. Honesty with ourselves, our
perceptions of the world, and ideas that initiate our actions are paramount to the Work.
But, this raises the question, how do we go about being "aware"? Why mention this
mental trap when speaking about the esteemed Dr. Emoto?
We must be highly vigilant for any information that comes our way. We must take the
responsibility in researching when one makes claims. This only makes sense if we are to accept a thing. Hard-wired
for trial and error learning, we rarely subscribe to things that fail to hold validity whether its the test of
getting our hands burned when touching fire or believing in the Force (or another other otherworldly or paranormal
phenomena with the label of your choosing). The problem with Emoto's ideas and how he's been presenting them is
that they are coming across as unequivicable truths without peer-reviewed support or successful reduplication of
results. This doesn't necessarily discount the impact of the work for those that don't dig further; this doesn't
necessarily say that water energy possibilities are false. I propose it is the opposite, but it compels us as Force
Realists to clarify what we believe we can do, how we can do it and what are the possibilities without falling prey
to fantastical delusions. I feel strongly that this can be a trap for the water energy Force practicioner because
in the event that solid evidence should point to much too the contrary and if there is a lack of awareness or
insecurity about one's position, we fail. Not only do we fail, which isn't an end-all alone, but we risk failing to
act altogether for the sake of disillusionment.
Disillusionmnent is a dangerious seed to sprout in the mind. It is as "fear is the
mindkiller" noted by our beloved Frank Herbert in Dune. This is why we need Force awareness--not only in elemental
energy work, but to live our lives in general. We need awareness and understanding to be urged to get up and move
again when failures attempt to tell us otherwise. Only through this tenacity do we find the salvation of continual
learning and improvement.
Much of the awareness aspect involves the investigative mental processes. The
development of this particular trait is the second skill set I mentioned earlier called Force sense (or what some
would call precognition/farsight). We tend to think in different modes. I liken them to directions of orientation
such as linear, multi-level, progressive and retrogressive. Being able to see the possibilities helps plan like I
mentioned previously, but it also helps focus on where we might be able to use our resources in the best way. This
"best" way would be to save ourselves work/energy, allow us to solve multiple problems, or keep what precious
quantities and qualities we might be short on if shortage is a reality. Coming back to the idea of responsible
stewardship, a good steward is not wasteful. What is not wasted or used can be a gain--though energy is not truely
ever lost, just moved. We just want to keep maximum energy until there is a need to use it and push it somewhere
else for the greater good. Being aware and mindful, leads us to act in efficient ways. Using clear sight, we can
look to give our actions more impact--maximizing the success of not only ridding ourselves of the issue but also
preventing its return or solving other undesirable riddles nagging us.
A quick analogy I could think to describe this idea is much like when you went out
and picked up your date for the first time after earning your driver's license. Or, maybe it was just friends. But,
regardless, there was a sense of protecting and using correctly the item you were lent to use for an important
purpose. If you expected your family to ever let you drive the family car again, let alone breathe, you were
mindful for the most part about respecting the driving rules and speed limits. You most likely used your seat belts
for safety if you were worried about getting a ticket from local law enforcement. You might have done these things
because you could "see" ending up losing life or limb from a brutal accident if you sped and lost control of the
car. You might have thought about the ruin of the car and how that could impact the family's ability to get around
and do what is needed to keep everything maintained such as work, school, shopping for food. This sort of sight is
more a projected use of logic based upon the factors found in the present and thinking about the circumstances and
how they can play out. The better one gets as it; the farther in time and the more accurate one becomes at figuring
what will happen based on what initially unveils similar to the psychic prescience many debate the existence of,
but with a bit of a more mundane method of approach.
The foresight I speak of is much like this for the water energy practicioner. It's
not all about only praying and sending good "juju" to water for the wish that it'll cure our mistreated resource.
Not trying to discredit the thought, but proper stewardship and use of the Force is more than just what's in the
mind and stays there. There is right action to go along with the right thought. Right thoughts lead to right
actions just as much as the actions also inspire the thoughts. The foresight is a sensory and other-activity level
extension of awareness.
Another way to think of Force sense/foresight is the concept of quantum theory and
its relation to possibilities. Trading in the deterministic trend of classical mechanics theory, quantum mechanics
allows for the uncertainties and limitless potential of choices. A great summary for Albert Einstein's Relativity
conclusion can be found in Eureka! 81 Key Ideas Explained by Michael Macrone:
a) Time and space are not absolute fixed quantities.
They appear different to people moving at different speeds, though if the difference in speeds is small the
difference in appearance is infinitesimal. This is the essence of the special theory.
b) If you can't tell the difference between two
physical forces or events, then there's no effective difference between them. For example, according to the
general theory of relativity, there is no way to tell the difference between an accelerating force and a
gravitational force. Thus there is no difference between acceleration and gravity. (Macrone
p.92)
Hidden latent in the theory is the revolutionary
concept that "time is not independent of space" (Macrone p.97). He mentions that "Einstein spoke not of events
happening in space at a particular (and unrelated) point in time, but rather of events in a four-dimentional
'space-time continuum" (Macrone p.97) and Einstein questioned notions "space" and "time" as "psychological
effects rather than as 'realities' of nature." (Macrone p.97) Ultimately, the author reported that Einstein
"decided space and time without matter are meaningless". In short, without any of the elements aforementioned
in the mix each disappear instead of remaining behind. By understanding the relationship of time/space and
mattter--for example we can see that each and every little action we perform affects future events in some way,
shape or form. The more knowledge we have about who or what is affected; the more likely we are to foresee the
effects of our actions.
How does all this jumble about possibilities deal with the water energy work?
Well, at the basest of levels, we could have easily foreseen the effects of the oil leak in the Gulf before
they had to happen. We'd already experienced the long-range devastation of the Exxon Valdez spill in Alaska
1989. Unfortunately, for those in the decision-making capacity, it might have not been at the point of their
value judgement to require extreme care in planning. Admittedly, all parties are not part of this dialogue and
the question of planning is merely speculation. This part has nothing to do with an airy-fairy manipulation of
the Force, rather it is a concrete, measurable effect or chain of effects that stem from the initial stage of
the project. Can Force work and the use of Force sight be involved with the solution? Most definitely. It only
needs a deep understanding of how to incorporate what has been learned and what is anticipated to occur
synthesized with perserverance to finish the task at hand with the proper resources of people and items for the
job.
Returning to Emoto's Hado and our last basic point of Force skill for water
energy practice--valor/mind dynamic, these two concepts blend in well for the purpose of this
discussion.
(I know, I bet you were wondering when I was finally going to get to the gist of
Hado and Emoto's work.)
